Diversity Management

Teams come in all shapes and sizes: from teams with just a few members from a minority group to teams with multiple subgroups, to super-diverse teams. Team complexity increases, especially when team members work primarily online or are spread out across different countries. Effectively managing these teams requires knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as well-developed intercultural leadership competencies.

Result

The Diversity Management training provides you with a solid foundation for effectively leading diverse teams. You will learn to better interpret team dynamics based on subgroup composition and the mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion. You will be able to identify negative effects, such as unconscious biases, earlier and learn how to prevent them. At the same time, you will promote the value of diversity by fostering effective information exchange and integration. After this training, you will have strengthened your competencies in addressing the challenges of diversity.

How the course operates

This Diversity Management training is offered as a customized workshop or webinar and consists of one or more half-day sessions. The described format includes a session with an individual in-depth discussion tailored to your specific work context. You’ll complete an intake form in advance so the training aligns perfectly with your learning objectives.

Given the content, this training is always tailored and customized in close consultation with the organization. The workshop can be expanded to cover bias and empathy, as well as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and may be supplemented with the online Intercultural Readiness Check© assessment, depending on the organizational context and learning objectives.
